Your experience begins with a Central Wagga location pickup followed by a 90-minute drive to our start location at Tintaldra on the Murray River. Murray River locals will be picked up on the way through at the Jingellic Pub. Once we arrive, there will be a short discussion on the format for the day, including lunch breaks, distance expected to kayak, and expected weather conditions. You are then kitted up with all your gear before the all-important safety briefing and instruction. 

After the safety briefing your adventure begins on the calm waters of the mighty Murray River! There are only small rapids on this trip, complete with pressure waves as you glide and discover the magnificent Upper Murray landscape!

There are spectacular views of Pine Mountain, a 1000 metre high granite monolith, larger than Uluru, which forms an impressive back drop.

You’ll encounter incredible wildlife including cattle, kangaroos, murray cod, platypus, goannas, echidnas and much more. The river also has an incredible diversity of birdlife that enjoy the lush river surroundings. 

The first thing you see of Jingellic are the pylons of the old bridge, which have been left as a sort of industrial sculpture, a reminder of former times. Immediately after the bridge, the on water experience finishes right at the back door of the famous Jingellic Bridge Hotel!

A cold beer or wine and food platter will be waiting for us as we sit under the shady trees overlooking the river and reminisce about the journey. This pub is famed to have one of the best beer gardens on the Murray!!

We then hop back on the bus and make our way back to Wagga! 

This trip is for the more adventurous as we can cover up to 39 km on the water!
