GUIDED BEGINNERS MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER SUP TOUR

Join us for a Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) tour on the serene waters of the Murrumbidgee River, designed especially for beginners and packed with fun and laughter! Our journey starts at the picturesque Wagga Beach and takes you on a leisurely 45-minute paddle downstream to the Wiradjuri Reserve Boat Ramp.

Our experienced and friendly guides will provide you with all the necessary equipment and a quick introductory lesson to ensure you’re comfortable and confident on the water before we head off! While stand-up paddleboarding is in the name, there’s absolutely no pressure to stand! Feel free to kneel or sit on your board—whatever makes you feel most at ease.

As we glide along the river, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and perhaps even spot some local wildlife. This tour is perfect for those new to paddleboarding, with a focus on enjoying the experience, sharing smiles, and creating unforgettable memories. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or a chance to laugh and bond with friends and family, this SUP tour promises a refreshing and enjoyable adventure on the Murrumbidgee River in Wagga Wagga.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to bring with me?

We recommend if you are bringing your sunglasses, that they are on a strap. Bring a hat, bottled water, sunscreen and a pair of thongs. Don’t forget a towel and swimmers too!

What if I have never been on a SUP before?

You will get comprehensive instructions on how to use the SUP’s and safety equipment. Most of our customers are first timers, so having no experience is no problem!

Can you fall off the SUP's easily?

The answer is YES! 

We give clear instructions and demonstrations beforehand and have practice in shallow water before we head off on our journey.

Do you supply all the equipment?

Yes. We supply all the equipment. All you need to bring is: – Swimmers – Sunglasses – Footwear that can get wet (eg. Thongs, sandals) – Hat – Towel – Sunscreen – Bottle of water.

Is it an issue if I can't swim?

You must be able to swim to participate in any of our tours.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, our SUP’s are rated at 140kg.

Is there an age limit?

Our minimum age for SUP Tours is 12 years old. If unsure, please call us and have a chat to us!

Do you take children?

Yes, we certainly do! We cater for kids aged over 12 years old as long as they can swim and accompanied by an adult.

Should I wear sunglasses on the tour?

We recommend you leave them behind, but if you do bring them, have them strapped around your neck. Be prepared to lose them if you fall in. If your sunglasses are worth hundreds of dollars, maybe grab a cheap pair.

Do you supply life jackets?
Life Jackets (PFDs or Personal Flotation Devices) are included in pricing for all hires and tours.
Do you refund if the Tour is cancelled?

You will get a credit for another date/time if we cancel the tour.
